Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
Description:
This is a recording of Izydora Kosach's responses to questions regarding her famous older sister, the writer Larysa Kosach (Lesia Ukrainka). The speaker heard on the recording, however, is not Izydora Kosach based on attestations made to the UHEC by her living descendants in 2021. The voice is of a unidentified individual reading written responses provided by Izydora Kosach to submitted questions. These responses contain reminiscences, as well as critiques of inaccuracies in Soviet writings on Lesia Ukrainka. This recording was likely made for Radio Liberty, though it is not so identified.
