Overcoming Brick Walls in Eastern Europe (webinar)

Registration is closed for this event
The first of the 2019 Nashi Predky virtual lecture series presents the noted writer, lecturer, and genealogist Lisa Alzo.

Research in Eastern European can be a challenging process. Sorting out surnames, trying to identify ancestral hometowns, and deciphering old country records to connect families are just a few of the obstacles often encountered along the way. Through sample case studies, Lisa Alzo will demonstrate lesser utilized research tactics, and discuss repositories and key resources used to locate information about your elusive Eastern European ancestors.

Lisa A. Alzo, M.F.A., is a freelance writer, instructor, and internationally recognized lecturer specializing in Eastern European research and nonfiction writing. She is the author of eleven books and works as an online educator/writing coach at Research, Write, Connect.
