Keyword(s) not found

This does not necessarily mean that there are no collections at the UHEC that have information on your topic of interest. It just may be that those keywords were not used by the archivist who wrote the collection description, or that your topic did not constitute a large enough component of the collection to warrant mention.

If you are searching for a person's name that would originally have been written in Cyrillic, please note that most of our descriptions use a simplified Library of Congress transliteration system (with apostrophes but without diacritics). Therefore, "Губаржевський" would be spelled as "Hubarzhevs'kyi" (not "Hubarzhevskyi" or "Hubarz︠h︡evsʹkyĭ"). The major exception to this rule is if the person used a well-known alternative spelling in English (e.g. "Француженко" is spelled "Francuzenko", rather than the transliterated "Frantsuzhenko"). In addition, most collection descriptions include the original Cyrillic spelling, so you should also try searching in Cyrillic.
