Storytime with St. Nicholas and Christmas Stocking Craft

St. Nicholas will visit us virtually and read a story, live! Children will be making a Christmas stocking for St. Nicholas to fill with gifts as he continues his travels around the world.

Join a very special guest for a special Christmas-themed workshop—St. Nicholas will be visiting the Ukrainian History and Education Center virtually in December! St. Nicholas will be reading a story about the Christmas season. After St. Nicholas’ visit, participants will learn to make and decorate a Christmas stocking.

Suitable for grade school aged children. 

Storytime by St. Nicholas. Craft taught by Oksana Pasakas, UHEC Education Programs Coordinator.

You must provide your own supplies for this workshop. 

 

This event is FREE and will take place ONLINE via GoToMeeting®, but registration is required. You will receive a seperate email with a personalized link to GoToMeeting a day before the event.

Supplies needed for this project:

• Felt, various colors (i.e. red, green, white, yellow/gold)
• Embroidery Thread
• Needle(s) (for older kids)
• Ribbon
• Fabric paint and/or fabric markers
• Pen and/or marker
• Scissors
• Cut out template for stocking (included in packet)
• Optional supplies for younger kids: craft/fabric glue
