24 students of the local Ukrainian Heritage School participated in a pysanka (Ukrainian decorated Easter eggs) workshop hosted by the UkrHEC.

The UkrHEC presented an exhibit of pysanky (decorated Easter eggs) at the Franklin Township Public Library.

Prof. Mezentsev of the University of Toronto returned this past Sunday to provide an update on his team's archeological studies.

On October 9th, the UkrHEC Archive division hosted an Open House in conjunction with the New York Metropolitan Area Archivists' Round Table Archives Week.

On August 17, 2011, the UkrHEC celebrated the 20th anniversary of Ukrainian Independence a week early.

On March 20, 2011, the UkrHEC presented a concert of religious and devotional songs of the Ukrainian Baroque, performed by the Collegium Musicum of the New York Bandura Ensemble.

On February 20, 2011, historian and archeologist Dr. Volodymyr Mezentsev gave a lecture about the ongoing excavations at Baturyn.
