September is National Honey Month and what better way to celebrate than honoring Ukraine’s long and storied history with honey and the honey bee!

September is National Honey Month and what better way to celebrate than honoring Ukraine’s long and storied history with honey and the honey bee!

Take a journey from flower to jar as you join our featured beekeeper for a live honey extraction. Learn how bees turn flower nectar into honey and how beekeepers extract that honey from the honeycomb.

Hands-on candle rolling workshop for the whole family to participate in. 

Candles and honey will also be available for purchase

Cathy Blumig owns and operates Wolgast Tree Farm & Apiary in Somerset, NJ with her husband, Len Wolgast, where they grow Christmas trees, raise honeybees and produce a variety of log-grown mushrooms. She serves on the Somerset County Board of Agriculture and has been keeping honey bees and crafting honey and beeswax products for over 15 years.
