Join us for a presentation of the newly published English-language edition of Mykola Mikhnovsky's "Independent Ukraine (1900)" presented by historian, author, and filmmaker Roman Koval. There will also be a screening of Kovals's short documentary "The Eternal Beauty of Mykhailo Horlovyi", with Q&A on historical memory and the work of the Historical Club "Kholodnyk Yar" and Ukraine's continuing struggle for independence to follow. Presentation and discussion in Ukrainian. Co-sponsored by the Ukrainian National Women's League, New Jersey Regional Council.

Travel to Ukraine with the UHEC as we learn about Ukrainian art, traditions, history, and geography. During the Passport Through Ukraine Summer Camp, participants will have a daily opportunity to make crafts inspired by the people and traditions of Ukraine. Daily educational and art-based lessons have been curated by the UHEC Education Department and tailored for students grades K through 6.
