Celebrate the beauty of Ukrainian folk art during this special Paint & Sip workshop led by acclaimed Petrykivka artist Halyna Nazarenko. Inspired by the legendary Firebird—a symbol of hope, renewal, and good fortune in folklore—participants will create their own vibrant painting using the distinctive decorative style of Petrykivka, recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Whether you are an experienced painter or picking up a brush for the first time, Halyna will guide you through the characteristic brushstrokes, flowing floral motifs, and brilliant colors that define this beloved Ukrainian art form. Along the way, you'll learn about the history and symbolism of Petrykivka painting while enjoying a relaxed, creative atmosphere with a glass of wine.

Halyna Nazarenko - Artist of Petrykivka
Halyna was born in Petrykivka village on November, 1968. She is still living here now. Mom cultivated he love to drawing. In 1980-1984 she was studying at Petrikivka Children's Art School, in 1984-1988 — at Mirgorod Ceramic College.
Since 1990 she's been working as an artist. Her portfolio includes classic works on paper and canvas, and experimental painting on fabric, ceramics, glass, plastic, and in interiors. She has painted a church. Her favorite works include Ukrainian village, icons, Kozak Mamay, wedding train, magical birds. In her creative lifetime she has created more than 2000 works in various techniques on various materials.
Halyna has had more than 35 solo and over 70 group exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad (USA, Canada, China, Japan, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Turkmenistan, etc.).
Her works are stored in museums and private collections in Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, France, Canada, USA, Portugal, China, Australia, Italy, Germany, Spain, Belarus.
Halyna is a member of the National Union of Masters of Ukraine, a member of the Association of Artists of Marseille (France), a member of the Association of Folk Masters of Ukraine.
